Quilters have been using Avery Basting Guns for many years now and benefit from this time-saving method of basting their quilts. The newest addition to the Avery Dennison range is the MicroStitchTM tool. This patented system features a lightweight, hand-held tool that’s reliable and easy to use, with a durable metal-feed mechanism. Its micro fasteners are better than thread, metal staples or pins, and hold fast and tight.



With the market’s smallest needle and smallest tacks, MicroStitch is also gentle on fabric. The tiny, versatile fasteners apply easily, can be sewn over and removed with a quick pull or snip. A special Tack B Gone Tool (ref 10151, £4.75) removes tacks quickly and easily without danger of snipping your quilt if you use scissors. For quilters, it makes the basting process faster and easier, with tacks that are 35% smaller than other options.

If you need to remove basting tacks as quickly as possible then this tool will help. Simply slide the Tack B Gone under the tack and the sharp cutting blade cuts the tack avoiding any nicks in your quilt from scissors or knives.
