Fusible Interfacings

Fusible Interfacings and Stabilisers are also called Iron On Interfacings and have a layer or coating of glue on one or possibly both sides which is usually activated by ironing. This then bonds the interfacing to another layer or fabric and will feel a bit rougher or have a slight sheen to distinguish it from the non fusible side. The iron on interfacings come in different weights from ultra soft to heavy depending upon the level of support that you need. Make sure you iron the fusible side to the fabric so that you do not get glue all over your iron. We have some hot iron cleaners to help!
