Hand Sewing Needles

Create felted projects in wool or silk using special felting needles. This starter kit contains a foam block, 4 felting needles (3 different sizes) and instructions on this waterless felting technique. The barbs on the needles catch and lock the fibres together when the needle is pushed through them and into the foam block. The more the fibres are stabbed, the more they lock together and the firmer the finished result.

These Piecemakers Size 12 Sharps are perfect for hand applique. A small needle designed to help give a small stitch. 20 needles per pack.

Clover's Applique needles are amongst the best we've found for getting a fine stitch that does not push apart fabric fibres. 15 needles per pack.

These extra long sashiko needles are designed to be used with the technique of sewing with the needle in the hand, usually controlled by a thimble that sits at the base of the middle finger. Two needles per pack - 65mm and 50mm approx.
