Saral

Saral Paper Corp. was founded in 1954 by Sara Sally Albertis (that's where the name came from: Saral) a graphic artist who grew tired of creating her own graphite transfer paper with a graphite pencil and her own elbow grease. She enlisted the help of a team of chemists to develop the first generation of Saral® WaxFree Transfer Paper.
The invention of Saral's trade secret waxfree method of adhering graphite and other colors to paper allowed Sally her fellow artists tole painters and craftspeople everywhere to put down their graphite pencils and get back to their arts and crafts.
In order to maintain the highest quality product possible over the years since 1954 the paper used in the making of Saral Transfer Paper has changed and been improved. However the transfer inks used by Saral have always been waxfree and have not changed as they are the best available.
