A Charm Pack is a pre-cut bundle of fabrics where the fabrics are all cut to 5" square. The number of fabrics in each Charm pack may vary. They are an easy way to build up your stash of fabrics quickly and are excellent for making "scrap" quilts. By joining the 5" squares together with a 1/4" seam allowance then you could build up a simple patchwork quilt quickly with blocks that are 4 1/2" in size.
Moda are one of the largest manufacturers of patchwork quilting fabric and usually produce a charm pack to accompany their fabric ranges so that you can sample a large amount of the range without having to buy a long quarter or fat quarter of each fabric. A Moda Chram Pack usually has 42 prints in it.
