Sew Steady Tables
If you find you are struggling with the work space around your sewing machine, especially if you are machine quilting, then a Sew Steady table could solve your problems.
The Sew Steady Table is a clear perspex top that can be cut to fit any sewing machine. The table surface is positioned flush with the free arm to create a larger work area. If you are piecing fabric you can lay out your patches on the table prior to piecing. When quilting you have a larger and stable area to work with and the weight of the quilt sandwich is much less likely to pull on the needle. It also creates a two‐level surface so that items such as scissors, pins, etc can be kept easily to hand and can be seen through the clear table top.
