Moda Jelly Rolls and Fabric Strip Rolls

Jelly Rolls are a great way of sampling lots of fabrics and because they are already cut into strips they are easier to handle and piece for your quilt top. A Moda Jelly Roll is a selection of 40 fabrics cut to 2 1/2 inch wide by the fabric width, which is normally 112-114cm (44"-45"). Other manufacturers have other terms for Jelly Rolls for example Robert Kaufman produce Roll Ups, Hoffman have Bali Pops and Free Spirit have Design Rolls. The main point is that all the fabric rolls are 2 1/2" wide but they may contain different quantities of fabric material, usually around 40.
