Aurifil 50 weight thread on 1300m spool. Aurifil’s 50wt thread is the most versatile and popular of their Cotton threads.
It is wonderful for piecing, subtle quilting & topstitching, and English Paper Piecing. The long staple Mako' of mercerised Egyptian cotton is very smooth, and strong thus making it great as basic patchwork piecing thread. 50 weight thread indicated by the orange spool colour.

Lovely thread for English paper piecing
Aurifil 50 Artic ice Thread . I bought the thread on recommendation Kate (,Last homely house YouTube) for a cot size hand made quilt. The thread doesn't snag, tangle and is easy to thread in the small eyed needle I'm using . The colour is good for sewing all colour hexagons together. .
