Position your thread into the plastic opening and draw it back and forth until it is coated. This wax can also be used as a lubricant.

Appears to be very good as a lubricant for the thread. Unfortunately, took me about 10 minutes of using \"Sticky stuff\" remover and 2 broken tails to remove it from the cardboard backing it had been attached to with a very thick tacky adhesive. For this reason only giving a rating of 2.
