The points are not pointed and they are quite uncomfortable to use as they are stiff. I have oiled them to no avail. They are quite sharp though

Quite disappointed with these scissors. From the photo I thought they had sharp points, but definitely not, they are rounded. The blades are slim but they don't glide through fabric, rather seem quite "gritty". The finger holds are too small. Will keep them for paper cutting.
