really handy to have and use, so easy for checking seam distances,measure 1/4 from cutting line,turn it over 1/2 inch parallel to next sewing line. only bad fault when you put flat on table hard to pick up, I slide it off the table edge to pick up.

This is a really useful measure and I use it all the time to check my seams on the sewing machine and when I need to stop before the end of a line of stitching (doing continuous bindings or set in seams for example). Quite a few plastic ones around, but a metal one like this is more durable.
