Nice quality thread, but …
Too thick for my denim fabric. Bought this for a sashiko class, the tutor was using embroidery silk. I don’t know if thinner sashiko thread is available. The matt quality is nice. I ended up splitting the sashiko thread into 2x3 strands, but impoverished and weakened it, not ideal.
