If you’re looking for an EASY memory bear pattern, Ben the Beginner Bear is perfect for you! This chubby baby bear was designed for new sewers. He is easy to sew, with no complicated arm or leg joints. Ben sits up on his own and has a very wide, totally FLAT, single-piece tummy - perfect for displaying images from t-shirts & baby clothes. He has a 5 inch(12½ cm) square grid on the tummy piece so you can quickly center the fabric design! His feet also have a 4 inch(10cm) square grid - so LOTS of room for adding names & dates. So break into keepsake making with Ben! Sewing level: BEGINNER.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Ben can be sewn in most fabrics. I sewed him in quilting cottons but he will also look great in knit/stretchy fabrics like fleece and Cuddle.
