Transparent and odourless, acid‐free and solvent‐free, Odicoat gives an oilcloth waxed appearance to the fabric while protecting it. In gel form, Odif OdiCoat transforms the fabric into a coated, waterproof and machine washable fabric.
1 coat, the fabric is protected, water repellent. Area of coverage: 32 sq.ft (3 m²)
2 coats, the fabric is coated, with a coated canvas look. Coverable surface area: 21 sq. ft. (2 m²)
3 coats, the fabric is waterproofed, with a waxed canvas look. Coverable surface area: 19 sq. ft. (1.8 m²)
Once treated, the fabric can be sewn, cut and cleaned. It possesses a great resistance to wear and is machine washable at 30°C. Once dry it creates an insulating film that resists stains and humidty inside and out. Use as a fabric glue for sticking to wood, cardboard, metal, glass, ceramic, pottery, styrofoam, stone.
You can use Odicoat on finished textile projects to give them an oil cloth effect or render them waterproof and washable (by ironing to cure).

Note. Clean the paintbrush with warm water, test all materials and media before use. Not suitable for thick velvet, suede or embossed fabrics.
Wash hands after use. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children.
• To coat your fabrics:
Place the fabric on a plastic surface.
Spread the Odicoat® with a flat brush. 1 layer for a water repellent look, 2 layers for a coated fabric look and 3 layers for a waxed / satin finish. Leave to dry for 20 minutes between the layers, flat or suspended. Final drying after 24h. To make your fabric washable at 30 ° C, iron, hot and without steam, after protecting your work with baking paper (parchment) or similar.
• Collage and decoration in fabric:
Apply glue with a flat brush and put the fabric on the surface. Pass a layer of Odicoat® to cover the laid fabric. For optimal protection of your decorated objects, you can apply 2 layers at 1 hour intervals. After 24 hours of drying, the decorated object will have a satin appearance, resistant to wear and cleaning.

Anonymous - HertfordshireI saw this, briefly as a demonstration at Harrogate show didn't know quite what it was but one of our group bought it. I thought it sounded like a great idea,so i ordered to try haven't used yet but great idea .Again cotton patch was the cheapest i saw plus quick delivery .
sewingmaid - NorthumberlandI used this on woollen check fabric for a handbag. It has made the fabric firmer, which is ideal. Only 1 coat seems to be adequate. Very easy to spread with a credit card.
