Twin needles can be used on zigzag machines. The two needles are attached to a cross bar which goes into a single shank. Good for decorative stitching. The bobbin thread forms a zig zag on the underside. 1.6mm between the size 70 needles. 2mm between the size 80 needles and 3mm between the size 90 needles.
