•Double sided temporary stick adhesive.
•Bond permanently when ironed.
•Sewing is not required but is OK. Sew without gumming needle.
•Fuse fabric, lace, ribbon, paper and more.
•Machine wash and dry or dry‐clean. DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER.
•Unfinished edges won't lift or fray.
12" wide
Steam‐A‐Seam 2 has the pressure sensitive on both sides which allows for a temporary hold to both the appliqué material and the background material. You can hold your project vertically and the appliqué pieces stay in place and are still repositionable until fused with an iron. Before fusing, tack your project to a wall or try on a garment to check appliqué placement.
Once fused the bond is permanent.
We recommend pre‐washing all fabrics before fusing. This will help remove any finishes that might prevent the adhesive from penetrating the fabric. Also, this should take out any shrinkage from your fabric. Do not use fabric softeners or dryer sheets.
Always pre‐test any fusibles to insure that your fabric is compatible. Be sure to check that the iron temperature is compatible with the type of fabric you are using

Perfect for appliqué

Love steam a seam! It’s perfect for appliqué because it’s tacky you can fix it to the fabric but it doesn’t become permanent until you iron it on - so you can move it around until you get the perfect position. I use metres of it!!!

Jo - Suffolk

will buy again as so easy to use

Excellent product

Really clever, you definitely can do as it says temporarily stick your appliqué motif down whilst you make sure is positioned correctly.
