Reference lines give more accurate spacing when quilting, particularly when using rotating templates. On a domestic machine the quilt is not taut as on a longarm machine and there can be movement of the quilt sandwich that can make it difficult to use the rotating lines on the templates. Use for marking 3 (120°) or 6 (60°) or 12 (30°) or 24 (15°) reference lines, great for Hexagon Quilt patterns. The 12.5" size allows you to mark up to 12" blocks.
Made from clear cast acrylic. Suitable for a variety of markers.

Very useful addition
I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this but boy am I glad I did. It makes marking your blocks a breeze and is indispensable for marking accurately. It enables you to create repeating patterns and works with a variety of the usual markers.
