This seven spool collection of YLI Silk thread was put together by Elly Sienkiewicz, well known for her expertise and books on Baltimore Appliqué Quilts. Each YLI Silk 100 weight spool contains 200 metres. Ideal for creating appliqué by hand and machine or for fine machine quilting instead of invisible thread.

Good but selection lacking blue
These are lovely threads to use but. I was disappointed that the selection , although good did not include any blue at all

Perfect!
I use this for machine quilting my quilts and hand finishing my bindings. It runs smoothly, never snarls or breaks and adds a lovely fine lustre to the quilts. I also use it in the bobbin when I do invisible threadwork on a quilt top. I love it!
