Gelato Ombres Fabrics

Add light and lustre to your quilts with these fabulous Gelato Ombre fabrics from Maywood Studio. The fabrics come in a wide selection of vibrant hues all with a gradation that starts with the darker hues at the selvedge becoming lighter towards the centre and then a mirror of the colour change back out to the other selvedge.
It’s not easy to see unless you look closely at the fabric but there is a subtle texture print of narrow random wavy lines that run in the direction of the fabric length. This seems to help to make the colour changes smoother and calms what would otherwise be very saturated colours to give a smart and contemporary look. They really are lovely!
