Aurifil 50 Weight Thread

Aurifil 50 weight cotton thread is the finest of the Mako' threads. The long staple mercerised Egyptian cotton is very smooth, and strong thus making it great as basic piecing thread. Aurifil also recommend the 50 wt thread for fine detailed machine quilting, to prevent bulky thread build up when you are stitching micro stipple.
