Silk Thread

Silk thread is a natural fibre which is a very strong. Silk is highly lustrous and enhances any quilting design. The Silk fibres absorb dyes really well and so the lustrous nature of silk combined with these dyes produces brilliant colours. One note of caution is that when subjected to large amounts of UV light exposure then silk thread can discolour and become brittle.
